A one-night wake service starts Friday, Feb 25, at 6:00 at the Activity Center in Martin.
Rhiannon Ruth Owens “Winyan Owang Wašte” was born on February 13, 1981 in Edmonds, WA to Deborah (Wheeler) Owens and Don C. Owens. Rhiannon made her journey to the Spirit World on January 31, 2022 at the Multicare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA.
Rhiannon is survived by her mother, Deborah (Wheeler) Owens of Martin, SD; siblings, Emily (Owens) Sullivan of Everett, WA and Don C. Owens II of Adelanto, CA; and fiancé, Dennis Krohn of Gig Harbor, WA.
Rhiannon was preceded in death by her father, Don C. Owens of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Jeremy Owens of Spokane, WA; grandparents, Velma (Shangreaux) Wheeler of Martin, SD, Melvin Wheeler of Oglala, SD, and Richard “Rick” Owens of Las Vegas, NV; and uncles, Gary Wheeler of Dannebrog, NE, Richard Owens of Everett, WA.
Pallbearers will be Alex Wheeler, Eric Clifford, Canku Clifford, Ernie Libby, Daniel Clifford, Zach DeYoung, David “Baby Dave” Wheeler, David Leon Wheeler, Nelson Wheeler, David Wayne Wheeler, Tommy Wheeler, Gregg Owens, DJ Whalen, and Tristan Wheeler.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
