Roberta “Marlette” Bernadette Thunder Horse was born on April 15, 1962 in Pine Ridge, SD to Robert Thunder Horse, Sr. and Lorene Hollow Horn. Roberta made her journey to the Spirit World on May 25, 2023 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Roberta is survived by her children, Dorothy (Joseph) Yellow Horse, Lynette (Jacinda) Yellow Horse, Elaine (Jillian) Yellow Horse, Kelly Thunder Horse, Charlotte (Berdell) Thunder Horse; brothers, Robert Thunder Horse, Jr., Michael (April) Thunder Horse, Sr., Bruce (Malina) Thunder Horse, and Tony Serbousek; sister, Robin Thunder Horse; hunka sister, Barbara Nixon; grandchildren, William Thunder Horse, Jr., Robert & Adan Yellow Horse, Ciaran Yellow Horse, Priya Thunder Horse, and Cillian Thunder Horse; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Thunder Horse, Sr. and Lorene Hollow Horn; son, William Thunder Horse, Sr.; sister, Crystal Thunder Horse; maternal grandparents, Rachel Rock and Oscar Hollow Horn; paternal grandparents, Paul Thunder Horse, Sr. and Mary Bad Bear; and niece, Aquinnah High Hawk.
