Celebration of Life for 76-year old Sherrel Ann “Sherry” Clark will be held at a later date in Chadron, NE.
Sherrel Ann Clark was born on Dec 6, 1946, in Norfolk, NE, to Pauline and Wilfred Tabler and passed away on Nov 9, 2023, at Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ.
Sherry grew up in Hot Springs, SD, where she later had 3 children: Curt, Karie, and Kim. She moved her family to Chadron in the early 1970s to be closer to her mother, Pauline Jung. She married Roland “Buck” Clark in 1977
Sherry went to work for the U-S Forest Service in Chadron in 1980 as a purchasing agent and remained with the agency until her retirement in 2009.
A year later, she and her husband Roland “Buck” Clark moved to Arizona so Sherry could be closer to her daughters Karie and Kim. Buck passed away in 2012 after a 4 year battle with cancer.
Sherry’s hobbies included spoiling her two dogs, golfing, gardening, crafting, and watching the Denver Broncos. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was so very proud of all her family’s accomplishments!
Sherry is survived by her son Curt (Traci) Smith; daughters Karie Jones, Kim Smith, and Belinda (James) Petersen; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her brother John Jung of New Mexico.
