Sioux County’s Kailey Klein and Crawford’s Natalie Barry led the Minuteman Athletic Conference girls all-stars in a losing effort against the Mid Nebraska Athletic Conference this past weekend. Although neither school is in the MAC, the two were selected because of a shortage of eligible players.
Klein carried the load with 23 points and Barry dropped in 14 as the MAC fell 75-63. The MAC All-Stars held a 52-50 lead heading into the 4th quarter before the MNAC ran away with the win.
Barry did walk away with hardware after claiming the girls 3-point contest title.
It was a come from behind win for the MNAC in the boys game 77-75.
