Funeral services for 24-year old Stetson Bear Looks Back are Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 CT at the Father Paul Hall in Mission, SD, with Father James Kubicki officiating and traditional Lakota Services by Mr Henry Quick Bear
Burial is at the Holy Spirit Cemetery in Ideal, SD
The family will meet Friday at 4:30 CT at the county line to follow in procession to Mission and a one-night wake service that starts at 5:30 at Father Paul Hall.
Stetson Marvin Bear Looks Back “Sungmanitu Tanka Isnala” (Lone Wolf) was born on March 16, 1998 in Las Vegas, NV to Jay Herman and Georgette DuBray. Stetson made his journey to the Spirit World on November 9, 2021 near Rosebud, SD.
Stetson is survived by his siblings, Jaycob Herman, Sevin DuBray/Bordeaux, and Jayden Herman; parents, Jay Herman and Georgette DuBray; Gramms Gwen Herman; grandpa Jack Herman; grandma Prairie Rose DuBray-Chapin; grandpa Paul Leader Charge; auntie Teddie Herman, AJ Herman-Waln, Rae Herman, and Katherine “Tootie” Felix, Altine DuBray, Grace DuBray, Marvin DuBray, Jr., Melvin Jace DuBray, Adell & Gilbert DuBray, and many relatives too numerous to mention.
Pallbearers will be Chris Eagle Bear, Jaycob Herman, Foster Hogan-Cournoyer, Connor Kettel, KC Stratton, Leon Leader Charge, Derrick DeNoyer, Jay Herman, Harry DuBray, Jr., and Sevin DuBray-Bordeaux.
