Visitation precede the services from noon until 2:00 PM, also at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD
Steven Rider Rattler was born on May 21, 1960 in Oklahoma City, OK to Heber Rattler Sr and Melrose (Alley) Rattler. Steven made his journey to the Spirit World on May 21, 2022 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Steven is survived by his children, Sylas Rattler, Jubal Rattler Sr, Bach Rattler, Sharon Rattler, Jessica Escamilla, Marietta Escamilla, Kelly Escamilla, Felon Bad Milk and Delbert Bad Milk; brother, Heber Rattler Jr; grandchildren, Aly Rattler, Alisity Steele, Iyasha Rattler, Jubal Rattler Jr, Jasmine Big Crow, Victoria Big Crow, Herbert Big Crow III, Dylan Bad Milk, Maliyah Escamilla, Mizell Escamilla, Jalena Whalen, and Athena Escamilla; and niece, Rachel Hamilton.
Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Means; parents, Heber Sr and Melrose (Alley) Rattler; son, Charlie Bad Milk; grandson, Stephon Big Crow; and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Larry Hill, Ernie Waters, Elroy Catches, Kenny Apple, Norman “Denver” Bianas, and Patrick Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Big Bat’s Crew, Corey Pourier, Ty Pourier, Kevin Kelso, Philbert Janis, Caesar Lopez, Talea Weston, Thelma Wallace, Lester Jack Sr, and All Friends & Relatives.
