Burial follows at 11:30 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City.
A one-night wake service starts Thurs, May 26, at 2:00 at the Common Ground Church in Rapid City, SD.
Latasha Lynn Rodriquez was born on July 12, 1985 in Rapid City, SD to Robert Steele and Glenda Rodriquez-Godfrey and was raised by Marjorie Surrounded. Latasha made her journey to the Spirit World on May 18, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Latasha is survived by her mother, Glenda Rodriquez; father, Robert Steele; daughter, Echo Lucy Marie Sowers; siblings, Jeremiah, J. Rodriquez, Misty R. Rodriquez, Ashley Rodriquez, Lacey Steele, Michael Rodriquez, Sylvan Godfrey, Jr., Estella Dreamer and Buster Steele; and grandmother, Marjorie Surrounded.
Latasha was preceded in death by her son, Eli Rodriquez; brother, Jeremy P. Steele; grandparents, Cecilia White, Glenn Rodriquez, and Virgil Surrounded, Sr.; great-grandparents, Lucy & Titus Chasing His Horse; and uncle, Eli Little Spotted Horse.
Pallbearers will be Buster Steele, Raymond Jordan, Lyle Simon, William Steele, Keith McKloskey, and Zachary Mardis.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
