Memorial services for 61-year old Tedd Crow Sr are Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11:00 at Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD, with the Rev Cyrus Black Elk officiating.

Burial is at the Crow Family Cemetery in Porcupine

A one-night wake service starts Thursday, March 17, at 6:00, also at Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine.

Tedd Bennett Crow Sr was born on February 4, 1961 in Porcupine, SD to Edward Flood and Charlotte Freida Crow. Tedd made his journey to the Spirit World on March 10, 2022 at the Commanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK.

Tedd grew up in Porcupine with the Killsback family. In 1976, at the age of 15, he became a member of the Golden Glove Boxing.

Tedd visited Cuba and met Fidel Castro after being elected to a foreign student, and at age 17, he became a member of AIM, the American Indian Movement, and participated in The Longest Walk, where he met Muhammad Ali.

Tedd received his GED and Certificate of Welding and Carpentry at the Kicking Horse Job Corps Center in Ronan, MT, in 1981.

After working for 3 decades, Tedd changed careers and received his Ministry license in 2012. He went on to minister in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Montana – wherever the doors were open.

Tedd is survived by his spouse, Shonda Crow; daughters of the home, Sophia Crow of Lawton, OK, Tanya Hoof of Chico, CA, and Sina Reyes of Sioux Falls, SD; sons of the home, Tedd Crow Jr, Samuel Crow, & Elijah Crow, all of Lawton, OK, and Aaron Hoof, Moses Tedd Crow, and Saul Crow, all of Rapid City, SD; siblings, Farrell Thunder Hawk of Kyle, SD and Shirley Flood-Dawn of Alliance, NE; grandchildren, Halin Bad Bear, Jerome Hoof, Makai Ingram, Ohitika Hoof, Elvis Hoof, Luna Hopper, Marilyn Hoof, Aaron Hoof, Jr., Edward Hoof, and JJ Hoof; and Daniel Siers, Jr., Anna Siers, and Quentin Siers.

Tedd was preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte Freida Crow and Edward Flood; daughter, Michella Crow; son, Benjamin Crow; and brother, Moses Thunder Hawk.

Pallbearers will be Tedd Crow, Jr., Samuel Crow, Aaron Hoof, Lyle Killsback, Hughie Killsback, Elijah Crow, and Burton Chief, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
