Thibodeu Picks Loos As Running Mate

Loading

Nebraska Republican gubernatorial hopeful Theresa Thibodeau has chosen a central Nebraska rancher and conservative radio host as her running mate.

Trent Loos is a sixth-generation rancher and longtime farming advocate from Litchfield, a village in Sherman County about 35 miles north of Kearney.

. Thibodeau, a former state senator and former day care owner from Omaha, says she and Loos will work together to bridge the divide between urban and rural Nebraska.

She says her conversations with Nebraska voters have made clear that a “one-size-fits-all approach will not solve Nebraska’s problems.”

Polls have Thibodeau badly trailing front runners Charles Herbster, Jim PIllen, and Brent Lindstrom.

Of the 3, only Lindstrom has named a running mate – picking former state economic development director Dave Rippe about two weeks ago.
