USDA to Begin Accepting ECP Disaster Assistance Applications for Nebraska Fires

Today, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the Farm Service Agency (FSA) will begin accepting applications for the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) for those impacted by wildfires across the state in March.

USDA noticed the ECP has been authorized for use in these counties to address damages from the following fires:

Morrill Fire: Arthur, Garden, Grant, Keith and Morrill
Cottonwood Fire: Dawson and Lincoln
Road 203 Fire: Blaine, Thomas
Anderson Bridge Fire: Cherry
Ashby and Minor Fires: Grant, Garden

ECP signup in the above-listed counties begins on Monday, April 27, and ends on Friday, June 26, 2026.
