Memorial services for 31-year old Vincent Uranga are Friday, May 27, 2022 at 6:00 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1410 Centre Street in Rapid City, SD, with traditional Lakota services by Ms Darla Black
Cremation has taken place.
Vincent Edward Uranga was born on November 30, 1990 in St. Helena, CA to Raymond Leon Uranga and Linda Elaine Uranga-Moran (Blue). Vincent made his journey to the Spirit World on May 4, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Vincent enjoyed skateboarding, watching and making skate videos, snowboarding, swimming, cliff jumping, hiking, and target shooting with friends.
Vincent often recalled his time touring with his friends’ band “Souls,” but was also a talented artist in his own right – whether drawing, painting, or his newest hobby, beading.
Vincent was a big guy with a loving heart and kind spirit. In keeping with that, Vincent was an organ donor and was still able in passing to help and bless others through LifeSource.
Vincent is survived by his loving wife Ashley (Cook) Uranga of Rapid City, SD; his beautiful daughter Aerianna Rain Uranga; mother Linda Uranga-Moran (Blue) of Rapid City, SD; father Raymond Uranga of Eureka, CA; siblings Katheryn “Katie” Uranga and Ramiro Uranga, both of Rapid City, SD; maternal grandmother Robin Blue of Rapid City, SD; paternal grandmother Erma Uranga of Eureka, CA; maternal grandfather Dan Dimick of Rapid City, SD; uncles Daniel and Ian Dimick, both of Rapid City, SD, and Richard Uranga of Arizona; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Vincent was preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda “Benny” (Blue) Jumping Eagle, John R White Eyes, Terryl “Terry” Blue, and Ramiro Uranga; great-grandparents Juanita White Eyes, Roy “Bud” Blue, Aurelio and Maria Uranga and Grover and Grace Johnson; aunt Katie Jumping Eagle; and uncle John Casale.
Urn Bearer will be Zeke Rodolph.
