The Sioux County Warriors wrapped up the regular season with a loss Friday to Hyannis.
The Longhorns led 21-8 after the opening period and never looked back on the way to a 66-28 victory. Sioux County managed a 13-point second quarter, but were held to single digits after the break, while Hyannis never posted less than 13 points in a single frame.
Jack Hunter led the Warriors with 10 points, while Josh Perez and William Skavdahl each had six. Cy Hughson finished the game with four, and Shane Gluth contributed two.
Sioux County will start sub-district action on Tuesday. As the number four seed in D2-12, the Warriors will take on Hay Springs. The winner will advance to the sub-district final to face the winner of the Cody-Kilgore/Crawford contest for the right to play in District Finals.
