Sidney, NE – “The Western Nebraska Development Network (WNDN) is pleased to announce its upcoming regional meeting on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Chadron. WNDN is inviting local business owners, community leaders, and entrepreneurs to join the session to learn about regional resources and participate in collaborative discussions.

WNDN is a diverse coalition of economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, and tourism entities, alongside key resource partners such as the Department of Labor (DOL), Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC), and the USDA. The group meets throughout the year to share updates and resources, while also visiting community businesses to identify successful local models and determine where collective resources can be leveraged to support future growth.

“The goal of WNDN is to connect the dots between regional experts and the businesses that drive our economy,” said Kendra Mitchell, Director of Sidney/Cheyenne County Tourism and WNDN member. “We are in the area to learn, but also to serve. We welcome any business or community member who wants to see what resources are available to them.”

In addition to the formal meeting and business tours, resource partners may be available after the session to meet one-on-one with business owners to discuss specific needs and goals.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP or send questions to director@visitsidneyne.com by April 20.

The Western Nebraska Development Network (WNDN) is a collaborative regional group dedicated to fostering prosperity across the Panhandle and Western Nebraska. By aligning the efforts of economic development agencies, chambers of commerce, tourism, and state and federal resource partners, WNDN provides a unified support system for the businesses and communities that define the region.”
