Funeral services for 78-year old William “Big Willy” DeCory are Thurs, May 16, 2024 at 11:00 at St Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Rapid City, SD, with Fr Joe Hubbard officiating.
Burial is at the Mediator Episcopal Cemetery in Kyle, SD
A one-night wake service starts at 6:00 PM, Wed, May 15, at 6:00 at St Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Rapid City with a meal to follow prayer services.

William Anthony “Big Willy” DeCory was born on September 8, 1972 in Rapid City, SD to Bernice DeCory and Louis “Buddy” Jumping Elk. William made his journey to the Spirit World on April 13, 2024 in Sioux Falls, SD.
William is survived by his siblings Martin DeCory, Michelle DeCory, Patricia LeBeau, Roxanne Jumping Elk and Coleen Steele, all of Rapid City, SD, Julie LeBeau of Eagle Butte, SD, and Mark Jumping Elk of Sioux Falls, SD; stepsisters Tanya Rodehaver of Montgomery, MN and Tasha Gartner of Bismarck, ND; nieces/nephews Maria DeCory, Moriah DeCory, Myra Wilson, Tabitha DeCory, Mason DeCory, William DeCory, Joseph DeCory, Lawrence Wilson III, Delano Brafford and Nathaniel Jumping Elk; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
William was preceded in death by his parents Bernice DeCory and Louis “Buddy” Jumping Elk; niece Jennifer Steele; cousins Jolene DeCory and Julie Ruby DeCory.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
