Funeral services for 1- month 2-day old Wolfe Abold are Monday, Jan 23, 2023 at 10:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating,
There will be a procession to Little’s Flat for the burial after services and the family will serve a meal at Brother Rene Hall following the burial.
A viewing will be held before the funeral from 9-10:00 at Brother Rene Hall with family and friends of the family invited to attend all the events.

Wolfe Huxley Abold was born Dec 8, 2022, and passed away peacefully in his mother’s arms on Jan 10, 2023.
Though he was only with us for a very short time, he was an amazing and beautiful little boy with the sweetest smile who brought so much joy to all, especially his mother.
He was incredibly loved and incredibly missed.
Wolfe is preceded in death by his great-grandmother,Lorraine Evelyn Little-Peil.
He is survived by his mother Wendy Abold of Batesland and his father Jason Schell of Rapid City, SD; siblings Ryan Abold-Alto (brother), Rhett Abold (sister), Lorraine Abold-Alto (sister); Rhyder Abold-Alto (brother), River Abold (brother) and Legend Abold (brother); Dylan Schell (brother); Tyler Schell (brother); Maya Schell (sister); Layla Schell (sister).
Wolfe is also survived by his grandparents Ernest Abold and wife Anne Clifford-Abold of Batesland, grandmother Lynette Morrison of Red Shirt, SD, grandmother (great-aunt) Arnell Abold of Rapid City, great-grandfather Henry Abold and Linda Abold (wife) of Crawford, NE; and great-grandmother Kaye Morrison of Oglala.
Also left behind are many aunts, uncles, and cousins: Jonnie Abold of Rapid City; aunt Samantha Abold of Tucson, AZ; uncle Matthew Abold of Gordon, NE; uncle Todd Barringer-Abold of Texas; Aunt Amanda Raben of Rapid City and her children (cousins) Nathaniel Lathrop, Anastasia Lathrop, Acaia Teeters and Rory Teeters; uncle Ryan Raben of Killeen, TX and his daughter (cousin) Orion Raben. uncle Gabriel Raben of Rapid City; aunt Echo Clarke and son (cousin) Abel Garner; uncle Jeremy Clarke and daughter (cousin) Thea of Oglala; uncle Morgan Clarke and daughter (cousin) Oneisys Star Comes Out of Oglala; and uncle Wambli Clarke and daughter (cousin) Evianna Jumping Eagle of Oglala.
Other surviving family include great-aunt Kimberly Peil-Hunter and Sean Hunter (husband) of New Underwood, SD and their children Jaden Stephen of Rapid City, SD; Alexander Stephen; Rain Hunter; Sky Hunter, Sage Hunter; Phoenix Hunter and Bohdi Hunter all of New Underwood, SD.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all our family and friends who have extended their prayers and condolences to the family for the loss of our beautiful little angel.
