The Wyoming Supreme Court has declined to answer questions involving a lawsuit over the state’s new abortion ban law. The ruling keeps the case wholly in state district court at least for now.
Teton County District Judge Melissa Owens had certified 12 questions to the state high court about the case, which the justices said they lacked information to answer.

Four women and two nonprofits filed a legal challenge and Owens suspended the law as it took effect July 27, ruling that it would stay on hold until the court challenge is decided.
