Pat Grosh died peacefully at home in Lincoln on August 31st, 2021, six days before her 89th birthday. She died of heart failure and hospice care kept her comfortable to the end.

Pat and her husband George owned the Chuckwagon Restaurant in Chadron until it burned down, and she lived in Chadron for 58 years, from 1958 until 2016.

Pat was devoted to God and prayer. She watched mass on the Catholic TV station EWTN and took Holy Communion with a multi-grain cracker and a sip of blackberry brandy.

She played golf in the women’s league and was proud to the end of still being able to take high score at bridge. Among her many other activities over the years were gardening (she was a Master Gardener), knitting, charismatic prayer group, and attending auctions.

Pat was the widow of George and mom to Chris, Steve and Ken; grandmother to Kelli (Shane) Stevens of Denver, CO, Jo Allen Grosh, Caite (Trevor) Lagers, Shane Grosh (fiancé Brittney Corbo), and Shelby Grosh, all of Phoenix, AZ; and great-grandmother to Brennan, Everleigh, and Declan.

Aspen Mortuary in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements for Pat Grosh.
