Funeral services for 58-year old Sarah Jane Martinez are Saturday, Nov 13, 2021 at 2:00 at the T&T Center in Wanblee, SD, with Kim & Becky Dewhurst officiating.
Burial is at the Morrison Family Cemetery in Potato Creek, SD
A one-night wake service starts Friday, Nov 12, at 1:00 also at the T&T Center in Wanblee.
Sarah Jane Martinez was born on April 20, 1963 in Pine Ridge, SD to Clifford Morrison, Sr. and Eliza Good Voice Elk. Sarah made her journey to the Spirit World on November 1, 2021 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Sarah is survived by her spouse, Ambrose Martinez; children, Martina Martinez, Christina Martinez, Jeremiah Martinez, Patricia Martinez, Vina Martinez, Carmelita Martinez, Jerome Martinez, Carlos Martinez, and Russell Martinez; sisters, Cindy Antelope and Deborah Frazier; brothers, Wilber Morrison, Sr. and Chris Morrison; and 24 grandchildren.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford, Sr. and Eliza (Good Voice Elk) Morrison; sisters, Marian White Mouse, Stella Antelope, and Edna Morrison; brother, Clifford “Tuffy” Morrison, Jr.; and grandsons, Antwan Martinez and Bentley Martinez.
Pallbearers will be Donald Antelope, Phillip Frazier, Lester Antelope, Wilbur Morrison, Jr., Ronnie Antelope, Joshua Antelope, Tony Marrufo, and Dennis Antelope.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
