Authorities in central Nebraska are treating the deaths of a Broken Bow woman and her ex-husband as a murder-suicide.
The Nebraska State Patrol says the body of 45-year old Angie Miller was found in her home about 1:45 Friday morning with the body of 47-year old Ryan Miller located about 3 hours later in a pasture near Anselmo.
Angie Miller was a counselor at North Park Elementary School in Broken Bow and had graduated from Broken Bow High School and the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
The State Patrol says investigators determined Angie Miller had been shot to death and identified Ryan Miller as a suspect.
Information led them to a location he liked to go near Anselmo and his body was found there, dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The State Patrol says the investigation, assisted by Broken Bow police and the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, is continuing.
