The Chadron boys and girls wrestling teams combined for 5 gold medals at the Chadron Invite on Saturday at the Nelson Physical Activity Center.
Quinn Bailey was the lone Cardinal boy to win his weight class at 152-lbs. Bailey’s day saw him win with three pins and a tech fall.
Rhett Cullers was runner-up at 182-lbs and Braden Underwood took 3rd at 132.
Taylee Williamson, Fia Rasmussen, Kenli Boeselager and Addie Diers all won their brackets on the girls side. The four combined to win 9 of their 10 matches by pin.
Angie Two Bulls and Brooklyn Hoffman earned runner-up at the weights.
The Chadron girls lost out on the team championship by a single point to Ogallala 58-57.
Chadron is off until Thursday’s Custer Triangular.
