At his request, no services were held for Louis Jessop Jr and cremation was performed.
Louis Leland Jessop Jr was born on May 4, 1959, to Ermine Jessop and Louis Jessop Sr. He passed away on May 9, 2023, at Bennett County Hospital in Martin, SD.
Louis lived a very free life and made many friends along the way. He left an impact on everyone he met. He would help anyone whenever he had the chance.
Louis spent most of his life in South Dakota. He was born in Mobridge, then moved to Buffalo Gap, and spent his childhood in Batesland and other surrounding areas. His final days found him living in Martin with his daughter Donell and her family.
Louis enjoyed working on the oil rigs and at the CO-OP.Â
He Louis was preceded in death by his mother Ermine Jessop; father Louis Jessop Sr; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
He is remembered by his siblings Lois, Lorn, Lilly, and Jordan; his children Donell (Stuart) Bucholz, Michelle Jessop, Tyrell (Amanda) Jessop, Jenece (Tim) Jessop, Alan Michael Jessop, Teresa Jessop, and James (Jenn) Jessop; his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and all other friends and family.
