Funeral services for 42-year old Anna Fester are Saturday, September 11th, 2021, at 10:00 at St Bridget’s Catholic Church in Hemingford.
Burial will be at the Hemingford Cemetery.
Viewing will be Friday, September 10, from 1-5:00 at Bates-Gould Funeral Home in Hemingford, followed by a rosary that night at 7:00 at St Bridget’s.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged in Anna’s name at the Hemingford Community Federal Credit Union for the future benefit of the Hemingford Public Schools.
Anna Marie Fester came into this world on April 8, 1979 in Alliance, NE to Jack and Ellen(Adamson) Fester. She went to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 7, 2021.
Anna’s childhood was spent in Hemingford with her parents and five siblings. She was involved in many activities throughout school including jazz band, band, choir, and swing choir.
Upon graduating from Hemingford High School in 1997, she attended Western Nebraska Community College and obtained her nursing degree. She spent her adult life in Alliance, NE, and worked throughout the Panhandle as a nurse until health issues made it impossible to continue.
Anna’s love of God showed through in all aspects of her life, and family meant the world to her especially her 3 nephews (Eron, Terrell, Adam), 2 nieces(Jordan and RamonaLee), and 2 great-nephews (Santiago and CJ) as well as her two dogs(Sugar and Sadie).
Anna is survived by her parents, Jack and Ellen, siblings LaTosha, Jason (Erica), Celena (Spencer) Varga, Shauna and NaKaya as well as numerous extended family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Glen and Lillian Fester, her maternal grandparents Everett and Rosalie (Krejic) Adamson, and two aunts and one uncle on her mother’s side.
Anna will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
