The Chadron Police Department are on the lookout for a black SUV that is suspected to be involved in a hit and run reported Tuesday.
Chadron Police Chief Rick Hickstein says officers took the call from the 500 block of Spruce Street shortly after 6 o’clock. The caller said his vehicle was hit while parked at his girlfriend’s house. Hickstein said the reporting party’s vehicle sustained damages to the mirror, which are estimated to be $500 to $600 worth.
Video surveillance from a neighbor’s house shows a black SUV leaving the scene of the accident.
