Christopher Bryan Walking Eagle was born on April 29, 1995 in Pine Ridge, SD to Edgar Ghost Bear and Laurentia Walking Eagle. Christopher made his journey to the Spirit World on May 12, 2026 at his home in Pine Ridge, SD.Chris was a great father, uncle, brother, and friend to those he loved. The love he shared with everyone he came across never went unnoticed. He had an amazing passion and love for cutting hair. He bonded with those he cared for, whether it was a joke, hug, or just giving his shirt off his back, in his words he would always say “It’s all Love”.Christopher is survived by his daughters, Kyriss Walking Eagle and N’mihez Walking Eagle both of Rapid City, SD; sons, Chrza Walking Eagle of Rapid City, SD, and J’ree Martin of Pine Ridge, SD; mother, Laurentia Walking Eagle of Pine Ridge, SD; father, Edgar Ghost Bear of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters, Rustee Walking Eagle of Pine Ridge, SD, Tamekia Walking Eagle of El Paso, TX, and Shelli Walking Eagle of Pine Ridge, SD; grandfather, Donroy Ghost Bear; grandmother, Kim Colhoff; great grandma, Vestana Colhoff; uncle, Donnie McMillian Sr.; hunka sisters, Brook Ghost Bear of Pine Ridge, SD, Jamilee Ferguson of Pine Ridge, SD; hunka mother, Audrey Backwards of Pine Ridge, SD; hunka brothers, Ty’russ Bettelyoun and Jon Garnier both of Pine Ridge, SD; cousins, Misty Garnier, Trevor Poor Bear, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
