Gerald and Laurie Foerderer visited the KCSR Sound Off program this morning to tell us about the Village Barn, a custom leather and saddle shop in Harrison.
The Village Barn, operated as a restaurant for many years, was converted by the Foerderer’s about a year ago into a retail store featuring Saddles, Tack, Boots, Antiques and even a selection of buggies and wagons.
Gerald also stays busy repairing almost anything made of leather, from boots and saddles to horse tack and suspenders. They also do custom work, time permitting. Even the kids are involved making custom chaps and other items.
