Funeral Services for 48-year old Dion Conquering Bear are Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10:00 at the Advent Chapel in Calico, SD, with Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating.
Burial is at the church cemetery.

Dion Alexander Conquering Bear was born on June 20, 1973 in Pine Ridge, SD to Burgess and Helen (Scabby Face) Conquering Bear. Dion made his journey to the Spirit World on October 9, 2021 in Rushville, NE.
Dion is survived by his siblings, Lyle Conquering Bear of Rushville, NE, Loran Dale Conquering Bear of Pine Ridge, SD, and Eldon Conquering Bear of Indiana; aunts, Lorraine Brady and Rachel Chief Eagle; uncles, Calvert & Delmar Dreaming Bear; grandfather, Ben Conquering Bear; and hunka sisters, Janet Cheyenne and Judy Slow Bear.
Dion was preceded in death by his parents, Burgess R. Conquering Bear and Helen (Scabby Face) Conquering Bear; siblings, Burgess Conquering Bear, Sidney Conquering Bear, Annette Conquering Bear, and Loretta Conquering Bear; grandparents, Agnes Brown Ear Horse, Alexander Scabby Face, Ida Slow Heart, and William Conquering Bear; and numerous aunts & uncles.
Pallbearers will be James Tracke, Nathaniel Tobacco, Jr., Sidney Rowland, Nathan Tracke, Jr., Bud Yates, Luke Conquering Bear, Howard Little Hawk, Shane Wounded, and Willie Wounded.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
