       The East won the 38th-West Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Game Saturday at the Cougar Palace in Scottsbluff, but the match went the full 5 sets to determine the winner, one of the few times that’s happened.
The West took the opening set 25–23, but the East dominated the next 25-13 and 25-16.
The West eked out a 27-25 win in the 4th set, but the East bounced back to take the decisive 5th set 15-12.
Named as the MVP of the West team was Sioux County’s Tamika Eastman while the East MVP was Emily Cornwell of Gothenburg. The West still leads the series 23-15
