Burial is at the Porcupine Presbyterian Cemetery in Porcupine.
A two-night wake service starts Thurs, June 16, at 5:00 at the Charmaine Weston residence in Porcupine.
Gabriel Lynn Mesteth III “Cetan Hota” was born on December 23, 1968 in Pine Ridge, SD to Gabriel Alvin Mesteth, Jr. and Lucille Olive (Weston) Mesteth. Gabriel made his journey to the Spirit World on June 7, 2022 at the Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD.
Gabriel is survived by his sons, Justin Mesteth and Chase Williams; siblings, Charmaine Weston, Ed Mesteth, Mark Mesteth, Dawn Black Bull, Clarice Mesteth, Chris Brooks, Mike Brooks, and Lisa Brooks; hunka son, Zayne Weston; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel, Jr. and Lucille Mesteth; son, Brandon Mesteth; brother, Michael “Bob” Weston; and grandparents, Reuben Weston, Susan White Bull-Weston, Gabriel Mesteth, Sr., and Sarah Her Horse.
Pallbearers will be Steve Bailey, Marei Kingi, Cante McCloud, Dylon Dixon, Rob Lawrence, Charles Galvin, Elmer Kills Back, Jr., and Virgil “Geese” Bird.
