Burial is at the Jumping Eagle Family Cemetery in Manderson.
A two-night wake service starts Thurs, November 17, at 2:00 at the #9 Community Church in Manderson with evening services at 7:00 each night.
Irving Lynn Jumping Eagle Sr was born on July 24, 1958 in Pine Ridge, SD to Irene Jumping Eagle and Lloyd Yankton. Irving made his journey to the Spirit World on November 10, 2022 at his home in Manderson, SD.
Irving is survived by daughters Maureen Jumping Eagle, Lynda LaDeaux, Sheila LaDeaux, Irene LaDeaux, and Dora LaDeaux; sons Irving Jumping Eagle Jr, Antoine LaDeaux, and Lee LaDeaux; siblings, Carl “Skip” Shott Sr, and Brynda Jumping Eagle; and 41 grandchildren.
Irving was preceded in death by his mother Irene Jumping Eagle; father Lloyd Yankton; spouse Elizabeth Chase Alone-Jumping Eagle; grandparents Oliver and Mamie Jumping Eagle; and brothers Seth Gibbons and DonRoy Big Crow.
Pallbearers will be Rico Iron Bear, Maurice Jumping Eagle, Fabien Jumping Eagle, Shayne Jumping Eagle, Frank Ghost, Lenny Jumping Eagle, Calvin Spotted Bear, Sylvester Brave Heart, Wanbli Jumping Eagle, and Norman Hernandez III.
