The Fort Robinson Post Playhouse opens its second show of the season tonight – Jersey Boys – all about the 60’s rock group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Curtain time is 8:00 tonight and tomorrow night and 2:00 on Sunday. Good seats remain for tonight and there are plenty of seats tomorrow night, but Sunday is nearing a sellout.
Duane Joseph Olson plays Angelo “Gyp” DeCarlo, a member of the Genovese mafia family who helped the Four Seasons in their early years. Olson says that’s just one of the stories in Jersey Boys that most people don’t know.
Cody Hall portrays one of the most important members of the group, but one that even most fans don’t know much about.
Many of the Four Seasons’ hits are in the show along with a number of hits by other groups from the 50’s-70s.
Single show tickets for all 5 of this summer’s productions are available, but the best deal is a Season Subscription, which offers drastically discounted tickets to 4 or 5 different shows. You don’t have to pick the dates or times at purchase.
Tickets can be ordered by phone or online, easy ways to avoid the disappointment of going to the Playhouse to buy tickets and getting turned away because they’re sold out.
