Leon Gilbert Little Moon was born on December 11, 1966 in Pine Ridge, SD to Wilson Joseph Little Moon and Cecelia (Fast Horse) Spotted Bear. Leon made his journey to the Spirit World on February 22, 2022 in Rapid City, SD.
Leon is survived by his wife, Pamela (Kirkness) Little Moon; children, Caleb Little Moon of Gordon, NE, Zachariah Little Moon (Colby Anderson) of Rapid City, SD, Isaiah Little Moon (Lacee Brown) of Gordon, NE, Luke Little Moon of Tacoma, WA, and Chloe Little Moon (Tasi Pelefoti) of Aiea, HI; grandchildren, Paisleigh, Julius, Violet, Rosie, and Kason; mother, Cecelia Spotted Bear; siblings, Joseph “Frosty” Little Moon, Marie Little Moon, and Ed Spotted Bear; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Leon was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Joseph Little Moon; son, Stephen Peter Little Moon; siblings, Sandra Little Moon, Joseph Spotted Bear, Theodore “Ted” Little Moon, and Thomas Little Moon; sister-in-law, Carmel Little Moon; paternal grandparents, James & Rose (Iron Teeth) Little Moon; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Annie (Broken Rope) Fast Horse; nieces, Eden Rose Little Moon, Miriam Moves Camp, and Celecia Spotted Bear; nephew, Jarred Whistler; and hunka brother, Louis Good Buffalo.
