    Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug says a Chadron woman found dead in her home Wednesday afternoon died of natural causes.
Police and rescue personnel responding to a rescue call about 3:45 PM found 68-year old Linda Johns unconscious and unresponsive. Efforts to revive her were unsuccessful and Haug was called to investigate the cause of death.
He says a review of the initial investigation of the scene, interviews with witnesses and medical experts, and a review of Ms Johns’ medical history led to the determination of natural causes. No further investigation is planned.
