NPPD Outages Between Rushville And Whiteclay Begin Monday

Nebraska Public Power District customers in northwest Sheridan County along Hwy 87 from Rushville to Whiteclay will experience multiple planned outages starting Monday morning.

NPPD spokesman Grant Otten says the outages are needed so crews can safely perform maintenance on power lines.

The area between 330th Lane and 610 Road near Rushville to the intersection of Hwy 87 and 776th Trail near Whiteclay will have outages Monday morning and Friday morning from 8:00-till-noon both days.

Two groups of customers in that broad area will have longer outages. Customers from 330th Lane and 610 Road to 650 Road will be without power Monday until 4:00 instead of noon and again Tuesday from 8-4:00.

Those between Scott Road and 776 Trail will have outages from 8-4:00 on Wednesday and Thursday.

Otten says NPPD has spent the past week reaching out by phone to all the customers who will be impacted by one of the outages.

  1. I live @ 6564 370th Trl and didn’t get a call, nor last time there was a scheduled outage. 10:59 pm is a little late to post this for those working early Monday or those not going to be home Mon/Tue.
