A 69 year old inmate of the Omaha Correctional Center died Tuesday at an Omaha hospital.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said in a release that Greg Carlson died after serving more than 27 years of a 60 year to life sentence out of Hall County for second degree murder.
The cause of death has not been determined but Carlson was being treated for a medical condition. As per NDCS policy when an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
