Raymer Makes Finals In 110 HH, But Otherwise Tough Day At State Track For Hay Springs And Crawford

     Dylan Raymer of Hay Springs had the 3rd fastest qualifying time in the boys 110 HH, but that was the high point for the Hawks on Day 1 of the Class D State Track Meet in Omaha.

Raymer was 22nd in the 300 hurdles, Parker Wellnitz finished 21st in the 3200, Gabby Twarling ended 24th in the girls 400, and Gage Mintken was 19th in the TJ.

     Mintken has the LJ Saturday with Wes Jacobs and Mia Skinner, respectively, running in the boys and girls 800 meters.  

      Crawford also had a tough day in Class D. The girls 4×800 relay of Kiera Brennan, Kember Mittan, Keslyn Vogel, and Halee Wasserburger was last while Kylah Vogel was 23rd in the low hurdles after missing the finals in the 400 dash by 1 place and .04 secs

     Saturday has Ty Brady in the 800 and 1600 while Carter Rudloff throws the discus and Kiera Brennan runs the girls 800.
