Funeral services for 39-year old Tesse Old Horse are Tues, Dec 21, 2021 at noon at the Little Wound House of Prayer in Kyle, SD, with Minister Jonathon Old Horse officiating.
Burial is at St Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery in Kyle
A visitation-wake precedes the funeral from 11:00-noon, also at the Little Wound House of Prayer
Tesse Evelyn Old Horse was born on April 5, 1982 in Kearney, NE to Melvin “Mimi” Featherman and Sandra Old Horse. Tesse made her journey to the Spirit World on December 10, 2021 at her home in Kyle, SD.
Tesse is survived by her children, Nenah Mesteth and Mariana Mesteth; parents, Sandra Old Horse & Aaron Gay; siblings, Jonathan Old Horse, Sr., William Quick Bear, Sr., Manuel Montoya-Old Horse, Jr., Cheyenne Grosz, Mertle Grosz, Shawnee Old Horse, Lakota Win Bibian, and Scotty Old Horse; and numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Tesse was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emma White Elk and Ralph Old Horse, Jr.; uncles, Charles White Elk, Lyle Bull Bear, and Chuck Bull Bear; sister, Dakota Vivian Old Horse; brother, Coy Old Horse; and cousin, Jonas Old Horse.
Pallbearers will be William Quick Bear, Sr., Jonathon Old Horse, Sr., Verlyn Old Horse, Sr., Mark Hopkins, London Yellow Hawk, Angel Old Horse, and Gary Garnette, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
