The Chadron and Crawford boys golf teams played to a tie of 191 in a 9-hole duel at Legend Buttes Golf Course on Thursday.
Crawford’s Lawson Nolan had the low round of the day with a 44, followed by Chadron’s Jacksyn Behrends with a 45.
Chadron’s Broc Berry and Crawford’s Payton Swanson tied with rounds of 47. Chase Olson fired the Cardinals 3rd best round of the day with a 49.
Shawn Schremmer and Trey Hendrickson recorded 50’s for Chadron and Rhett Flack and Roman Metz dropped 50’s for Crawford.
Mitch Knode rounded out the Rams scorecard with a 52.
Both teams will have their first tournament action of the season on Wednesday at Hillside Golf Course in Sidney.
